But when I told them you were out playing mj at friend`s place, both of them not happy leh >.< Say, 'Why Wei Jie leave you alone here ! Then how you go home alone later ? So late leh' They say it`s a long journey and dangerous too. Bukit Batok to Tanjong Katong ! Especially my grandma was saying, 'Today is Saturday night ! Why leave his girlfriend alone ?!' LOL.

Class at SCI starts at 9am. Normally I`ll get up by 8.05am, and reach the bus stop at 8.45am.
This morning, got up at 7.47am, thought I was early for class. . Slowly got up, shower, even drank hot chocolate larh. It was still drizzling and good thing my dad offered to send me to City Plaza, and dropped me off at the taxi stand so that I only need to walk a shorter distance to the bus stop.
Looked at the time. . 8.39am. Hrmm, slightly earlier than usual. Thought that maybe I can catch the earlier bus as the bus I normally take is at 8.51am.
Waited and waited. . Many buses passed by, like two bus 2s, two bus 7s, 2 bus 13s, 3 bus 26s, 2 bus 40s, 2 bus 51s and like almost
EVERY bus came. BUT NO BUS 70 !! OMG. You see all the impatient office people, crossing their arms, some even gave up waiting and walked to the front of the bus stop and tried hailing a cab, by then, the time was already well past 8.51am. It was freaking 9.01am and I`VE BEEN WAITING FOR THE FAT TURTLE BUS FOR LIKE FREAKING almost HALF AND HOUR LOR !!!
%$&^)$^$*$)&$)^_)^&I WANT TO COMPLAIN !!!!! Every morning this bus is single decked and crowded to the front door and since this bus is so popular among people for travelling to their individual destinations in the morning, it`s frequency should be higher what ! My class starts at 9am leh !! And from my house to Suntec only normally takes less than 15minutes lor. ROAR !!

Me : DADDY !!!! The bus still not here yet leh. T.TDad : Aiyoh. Who ask you so late today ?Me : Late today meh ? I was early leh ! I wait for like half and hour already lor. Everyone also down here waiting. Normally the bus will come at 8.51amDad : (worried) Take cab. I pay you back.Me : But all the cabs 'on call' and alot of people waiting for cab too !!Dad : No choice lor. You wait and see bus or cab come first.Hung up. And. .
After awhile, I see people walking to the front of the bus stop. Super many people. I looked at the road,
AHA ! Bus 70 at the traffic light, ready to turn. A sigh of relief from everyone. FINALLY !!
Time check : 9.07am
zzzz.
Bus was ultimately crowded, I swear. Squeezed in, and the bus was so full that it even just drove past the next few stops unless there were passengers who wanted to alight. Throughout the journey, images of the lecturer teaching a silent one-person-to-a-full-class of hardworking students with eyes fixed upon the projector screen, students frantically writing important side notes by the printed-already-given summaries. AHHH. And finally the class door swings open and this untidy and out-of-breath girl dashes in and slumps against her seat at the middle front, creating a comotion and great distraction to the others.
Enough of those imagination. Well, actually it wasn`t really an imagination, this has happened almost every lesson as none, out of the 3 so far, I was ever early for any of them :
Got to Suntec Tower 2 bus stop. YAY !
I took a quick glance at my watch again and gosh ! It was so late already !! Like 9.20 ++ ?! Walked damn fast into the building, I felt damn bad larh. Always late for lesson ): Hurried to the office tower, to the elevator and waited for it.
Side track, I love the elevators there awfully as there are like 6 of them ?! Not many people use it, plus there are diferrent types of elevator allocated to go to the different floors. As for mine, Level 14, there are 6 elevators to reach this floor. And that`s a double plus point ! hehehehe.
Back to today`s hectic and crazy morning.
Got into the elevator. 3 people inside,
one person went to Level 13,
the other, me, went to Level 14,
and the last guy, to Level 15.
OMG. Suey. Was hopimg that I`m the person going to the lowest floor among the lift commuters so that no time will be wasted any further by waiting for the person to get off the elevator.
EH. Gan jiong leh !!
The guy got off at Level 13. Soon, it was my turn to get off at Level 14. Quickly strolled to the Prudential Room where my class is always held in and. .
The lights were off ! I saw they were off and the room was dark from the outside. I could see through the top clear-part of the wooden door.
Don`t tell me that there`s no lesson today. That can`t be for real as I clearly remembered that my lessons were always on Mondays to Wednesdays ! Even saw my timetable like a gazillion times before !
Decided to double-check. I quietly pulled open the door (in case there was a presentation lesson going on, which is probably why the lecturer had the lights switched off) and to my greatest HORROR,
THE CLASS WAS EMPTY.
Not even one person in sight. No movement at all. Totally quiet.
Shocked and astonished as I was. I dropped my thick file and handbag on the table some distance outside the Prudential Room and immediately wanked open my file. Inside, was my timetable. Flipped open the paper and GOSH.

19 March 2007.Checked the timetable`s date again to re-confirm. I still can`t believe it !! ):And I thought it was 21 March !!
OMG !!!!!! I screamed silently in my head. Why am I so careless and blur ?! All that rushing and morning gan-jiongness for nothing.
ALL FOR NOTHING !! -____________________-
Called my dad again.
Dad : (anxious) Hello ? You reach already ????Me : YES I HAVE ! But guess what !! I went to the class and there`s no one inside ! Found out no lesson today !!!!Dad : Really meh ? Wait I check your schedule.Me : I checked already. Lesson is on Wednesday to Friday, not Monday to Wednesday.After a short while of silence. .
Dad : Eh ! Yarh hor. Aiyohhhhhhh. . You arh. . . .And he burst into pits of laughter. And in fact, it lasted for quite long. HAHA.
HURRRR !! This is stupid ! Waste my time and effort. Make me so worked up and worried so early in the morning. ALL FOR NOTHING !!
Wanted to tell baby about it but I guess he didn`t hear my call. Sleeping away. .
I ended up walking down to Bugis`s Mac, some 10-minute walk away and bought a consolation $2 meal breakfast. Felt lazy to move and decided to stay there and study. Studied for 2
solid hours. Proud of myself for that. That was 2 WHOLE chapters okay !! ((:
