today. . is the last day of cny. how sad right ? no more angpaos to collect until next year. sigh. but nevermind ! i have one piece, no, actually two pieces of
good news to share with everyone ! (( : double happiness. he he
- the malay rice stall auntie charged me
one dollar for this huge HUGE H-U-G-E plate of rice with beancurd and spinach.
in the end also never finish cause i wasnt that hungry. faseho-cho and syaheedaro had carrot cake ! syaheeda bought a pathetic plate of carrot cake which cost her a mere seventy cents and she didnt finish. cant understand her. ha ha.

BEST news since the past one year plus or rather, to be exact since the end of 2003. you are so gonna scream when i tell you guys okay. ready ? ke ke. alright, shall not waste time. .
I have a CCA ! ! !. . but thats not the best part yet, its. .
MY CCA IS TRACK ! whoohoo ! !how wonderful right ? the most perfect thing that could ever happen to me. whakaka. cant believe i finally managed to persuade ms goh and get back into my cca after SO long ! and of course
credits go to mr koh. he was assissting me all along and thanks ms goh for forgiving me too ! (( : . . I HAVE A CCA ! how nice right ? and wow. i havent been saying ' im going for trg ' this sentence for a long long timeee. nevermind, fret not RacheL ! i`ll get the chance to say it on monday. im in such a gooooood moooood today ! ask the girls, they know. x:
and you know what day is it today ? its wednesday ! trg day. but sadly, cant make it cause of the class committee trg thingie. then when i reach there, in the end no need go. by that time already too late for me to go home change, get my stuff and go back tampines stadium. such luck ! but most importantly, i got what i want - my cca ! whaha. must stress on that so many times. and friday, i`ve got no trg, so have to wait for monday for my first ever trg with the guys after so long. he he.
oh ! and btw im no longer in the long-d group. im in the teachers one ) : sadded. but who cares ? ! as long as im in track, its alright ! put me anywhere and im still happy he he (( : must stay cheerful man. and if any of you hear me saying ' i dont feel like going trg ' or trying to give excuse not to go, REMIND me I HAVE TO GO. okay ? cause cannot let ms goh down again. must show her that im no longer the last-time irresponsible and untrustworthy RacheL she once knew. thanks !

Happy belated Valentines to all of you !and Happy Chinese Valentines too ! ( bliss says it is ) - ha haanw, yst was the bestest best day of all my valentines day. whaha. during lesson time, kim msged me asking me go to class during recess. i thought what thing so important but of course i still went there ! received this pair of earings from kim and erica from Perlini`s Silver. and guess what ? its PURPLE ! how thoughtful of them. didnt even get anything for them. im such a lousy friend. but still, i bought them something in return too and passed them just today. also gave azei this beautiful string of silver stars with neat holes all around it. ask her show it to you ! -hints-right after school, faseha passed me the pink rose she promised me. i bought her a circular Reebok wallet for her last friday. was meant to be a valentines gift though. after school, went for the ' I do I do ' movie with syaheedah, azierah, nicole, her brother - darren, and adam. was extremely lameeeee. but i found the movie pretty hilarious. maybe because of syaheedah. you know her laugh, - so very contagious.hrmmm, after movie-ing, i left for the interchange and waited for elmo - he wanted to pass me a rose too. waited for him like 40 mins ? missed two bus. dioy. msged a happy valentines msg to ian. and he replied. i asked him where he was, and guess what ? he was at tampines interchange too. whaha. i was like woah ! so qiao. met him. received this soap-soap rose from him. so nice okay ! i was like wow ! the only rose i`ve received that can last forever. looks so delicate and fragile. i was sososoooo surprised ! and happy too of course ! left soon after cause had tuition. took bus10 home.but the worse thing that could ever happen to me, happened. as i was walking home, i dropped the rose ! no, not the one fas gave me. not the one that elmo gave me either. it was the soap rose ! ) : my heart sank. guess i didnt hold it tight enough. and when i bent down to pick it up by the road, the rose was broken here and there. with little bits of it left on the road. i carefully picked them up in dismay. why did it have to be that rose that dropped ? why was i so careless ? arghhh ! so frustrated with myself. clumsy butter-fingered me ! it was like the most precious thing of all things. )) :anw, the happy thing that happened to me was that i finally managed to get my skates after so long. from queensway. went there with erica, fas, jamin and bangz. jamin and bangz left early. while me and the two girls went ikea for the yummy hotdog ! . . once again. and i was like carrying the heavy box of skates the whole way from queensway to bedok mrt and then to bedok interchange. i thought i looked nuts. but who cares ? at least i`ve got my skates at last ! Happy lunar new year , once again. huat arh ! learnt that from elmo (( :first thing in the morning 9+ am we went to my ahma`s place in toa payoh. met my cousins whom i hadnt seen since a year ago ? and my lil cousin leroy, is so adorable ! when they arrived, he first peered into my ahma`s home before walking in, dressed entirely in the red cny traditional costume, sending everyone laughing and smiling at him in delight. even my ever-so-serious ahma was laughing. with the cute look, he jumped and hopped about the place, so enegetic it makes you tired just to watch him ha ha. he`s five by the way. there`s a photo of him if you would to scroll down. taken with me and my uncle. leroy`s doing the gong-xi-fa-cai action actually, but he looks so blur ! we left the place after having a bowl of mee-sua each which my ahma cooks for us every year on cny. her tradition i guess :left for the zoo soon after. i thought it would be super weird cause im chinese, and im at the zoo ? like wth. i should be out visiting relatives man ! ha ha. i supposed there would be just foreigners, malays, indian there but hell no, i was indeed surprised when i saw even other chinese people there. the entrance and the ticket booths were swarmed with people. . here and there, i see more and more people. guess i was wrong.when we entered the zoo, at the very front of it, there`s this zodiac trail where the 12 zodiac animals were displayed of which in place were 12 animals. for instance, there`s the snake, rat, guinee pig in place of a real pig, and a pony in place of a horse etc. and at the beginning of the trail itself, there are little bushes cut into the shape of chicken figurings. i took a photo of that too ! . . cause it looked so unique. and at the end of the trail there were people from the media, i looked at them and thought ' wow. didnt know this thing is so important until have to get the tvie people here ! ' my mum, too engrossed at the whole thing, didnt even notice them and walked straight out. the reporter stopped her asked if he could interview her in chinese and she agreed. he asked her qns like ' what made you come to the zoo first day of cny instead of visiting relatives ? ' , ' which part of the trail interests you most ? ' my mum, still shocked as she was caught in surprise answered the qns quite calmly but i felt as if im scared for her. ha ha. dont know why though.just as we were about to leave after her interview, the reporter stopped me and asked ' could you do one for me in english ? ' and i had this super huge reaction and stepped back, saying , ' dont want larh. . dont want larh ' . but the man, who was quite patient with me told me to just do it and get over with the whole thing. so in the end, i agreed. i asked him if i could get my brother to stand beside me but the reporter said he`ll interview my bro after me but he didnt ! garrrgh. bluff me. the qns he asked me were more or less the same as what he asked my mum. and my qns were about the same as my mum`s too. no fun. cant blame, i was too scared okay ! having so many by-standers staring at me and the camera, which i kept avoiding and trying my best to look at elsewhere. i was so stressed ! but at the end of it all, the reporter praised me saying it was so bad after all, and that i could speak quite good english. but i felt as if i were stumbling throughout the whole thing. oh well, maybe he was trying to make me feel better about the interview. ha ha. glad its over. i bet i looked so retarded on telly too. and damn ! i forgot to catch it on telly just now. but earlier part of the evening, i caught my mum on telly twice ! once on channel 8 and the second time on channel U. she kept complaining that she looked so ugly. ha ha. but good thing she had her shades on then !
