Went ice skating yesterday ! With the genkians. Pretty fun I must say. Participating parties were absolutx, MXN, olunnd, marcus and me :D
Absolutx knew a thing or two about roller blading and so, even though it was his first time ice skating, he did pretty well and managed to get the hang of it. Even better than me !
MXN was last to reach, he had school which ended at 5. He got there around 6.15pm. It was his first time, and was able to balance. Shocking !
Olunnd`s first time too. But he had TKD the day before and he had this HUGE blister on the sole of his feet. So he couldn`t really skate with ease. Poor guy. .
Marcus, I need not say larh. . He`s good too. heh.
Steven was there as well. But didn`t really talk to him as much as I did the last time. He was with those pro guys in hockey skates. So I dare not disturb him. He`s too pro larh. And I JUST LOVE THE WAY THEY SKATE. I should start learning and practising hard. lol.
JUST BEFORE LEAVING, I wanted to cut across to the exit. I turned around, no one there. And so, I 'THOUGHT/ASUMMED' that it was safe. HOWEVER,
WHAM ! I was hit down hard by some pro hockey skater. It all happened too fast and I didn`t even knew what happened !
I landed hard on my side, I felt icy water seep into my clothes and my cheeck bone hurt like mad. I felt as if the left of my head was smashed and MAN, it hurt like crazy. The right of my hair was dripping wet and I was froze on the spot. My hands stretched out and I guess I was blocking quite a huge portion of the rink.
I raised my head slightly, saw a hand reaching out to me. I grabbed it and tiled my head to a comfortable angle, and it was the dao Steven. He asked if I was alright, I managed to choke a YES. On the contrary, I knew it wasn`t Steven who got me falling down. It was another guy.
Marcus told me that he was right behind and saw the entire ordeal. He`s asked me if I heard the big group of hockey skaters saying ' ORH HORR. . Steven make girl fall down ' in a rather joking manner. But I didn`t hear a thing. Perhaps I just simply just too overwhelmed by the shock of falling so suddenly.
Anyhow, about 8plus, I saw this guy. He looked SUP
ERRRR familiar. I thought and I thought, trying my very best to recall where I knew him from. And suddenly ! It came in my head. And I realised that he was one of the guys whom I`ve met when I went out with Shawn some time back late last year. He knew Steven too. I felt like calling him ' HI JJ ! ' But was afraid that he doesn`t remember me. So I decided to play safe and keep my mouth shut.
As we were about to leave, I was taking off my skates somewhere near the side of the rink where they were standing. Behind me, I felt people standing there, conversing in mandarin.
One said :
Ask her larh ! Maybe she knows youThe other said :
Don`t want larh. . Later don`t, then how ?I kinda suspected that it`s JJ and his friend talking but I daren`t turn around. As I jumped off the white 'shelving' which I was initially sitting on, I bent down, picking up my skates from the floor. Standing up, I saw JJ about to skate away.
I FELT SO MUCH LIKE ASKING HIM. But again, I was silent.
However suddenly, JJ did a swift turn and he looked at me.
I looked at him, partly afraid that he`ll think I`m some sicko or stalker. To my utmost surprise, he skated towards me to the edge of the rink. He smiled, and asked,
JJ :
Hey ! Do I know you ?
Me :
Yea. You are JJ right !JJ :
Yarh, and you arh. . . .
He paused awhile, thinking.
JJ :
RAY. . . .CHEL !Me :
Ha ha. Yea. You remembered me !JJ :
Yea. But where did I know you from arh ? I saw you since just now, but not sure if it`s you.
Me :
Err from shawn. Eh SAME ! I wanted to call out to you so badly but afraid that you don`t recognise me. ha ha x:We laughed. Cause both of us were exactly the same ! - we recognised one another but dare not say HI. It was darn hilarious larh. But glad that I finally managed to see him after almost a year. Whatmore, talk to him ! LOL.
Oh yea. I think I got myself VERY addicted to skating. I`ve asked Song if he wanna go sometime next week and the best part was,
HE READILY AGREED !
WOOHOO ~ Another pro skater ! I must get him to teach me something new ~ he hee.
I CAN`T WAIT !
