this morning, when i was sleeping, i thought i heard my phone ringing in my dreams. okay, i know thats a dumb dream but its true ! it rang and rang and stopped. and starting ringing again, i somehow got up and reached for my phone. i saw on its screen the word ' bata ' blinking on it. i looked at the time, and hell ! it was like 11.00 am. and thats the time im supposed to be there to start work. i thought i was still sleeping. i was probably too tired. but then again, i was too scared to pick up the phone.
i heard serena`s voice and she was like saying, ' rachel ! where are you now ? ' . i answered her, ' at home ' in this guilty crooked-up voice i get when i just get up from bed. and serena was getting to sound anxious, ' omgosh ! you just woke up ? ' ha ha. i was speechless. i told her i`ll hurry up and reach the shop asap. she said andy needs me to check stock thats why.
and on the bata ' rules ' list, its stated that if we`re late, have to deduct 3 hours salary. and i was like. . sadded ! when i reached there half an hour later, i saw andy checking the stocks. serena did the orh-hor thing at me. and shahid made his crooked smile. i felt so scared ! went to andy to apologise. he told me he wont deduct my pay. not only that, serena bought me dinner !. i was like oh-wow ! such kind souls they are. i shall repay then back one day ( :
today me and serena kept talking about our dogs. she has two. one big, one small. i told her and andy about my dog story. and serena told me her stories too. i swear, some hilarious to the extreme. we couldnt stop laughing. and andy was like ' what what ? ? whats so funny ? tell me leh '. poor him x :
oh, and felicia came to visit me today. ha ha. shiyun also visited me earlier in january. so now, its left with cheowfern who is the
only other girl in my class who hasnt visit me at work yet. ha ha. i shall wait. . x : btw, i sold 77 shoes ! shahid ? - only 45. whaha. i won him this time round. lets see about next week. lol. shahid. . watch out !
